Often, players must capture and store their game on XBOX360. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 has no native support for video recording, the exterior of the device should be used. After trying different methods of capture outside, we settled on using external video capture VGA Card – VGA2USB LR Epiphan Systems.

In order to properly capture and record video to Xbox and Xbox 360 games, you need the following:

Xbox 360 VGA HD Cable
All XBOX and XBOX360 game consoles have a product that can work with VGA monitors. The Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable is connected to the output port on the back of your game console and provides a VGA output for use.

LR Epiphan Systems VGA2USB video capture device
The VGA2USB LR is necessary because it serves as a bridge and a converter between your computer and XBOX save. Basically, grab the video from the VGA port and turns it into a format your computer can save your video such as MPG or AVI.

Capture XBOX – the process

1. Connect Xbox 360 HD AV cable for game console.
You should now have a fully written functional VGA output port that allows interact with the device RS VGA2USB video capture.
2. Connect the VGA XBOX VGA2USB RS.
3. LR VGA2USB connect to the computer's USB port to save the video.
4. Start the program for free VGA2USB Epiphan Systems. Select "save videos.

It's that simple. Now you're ready to record Xbox 360 video at full resolution and frame rate.

Why RC VGA2USB than capture cards capture XBOX TV
The RS VGA2USB product is superior to any TV capture card that is used to capture the traditional video recording and a multitude of reasons. First, the VGA to USB RS is capable of recording VGA resolution natively, which means that you are capable of recording Full HD images, while the TV capture cards to ruin the quality image of the game console. XBOX Capture – Audio Recording
